This is a full-time hybrid role for an Online Optical Assistant based in Bury, with the flexibility to work partially from home for the ideal candidate. The successful candidate will assist customers with eyewear inquiries, provide knowledgeable guidance regarding optical products, and ensure a Best in Class customer experience. Responsibilities also include handling prescription lens requests, performing basic optometry tasks, responding to customer inquiries via telephony, webchat and email ensuring issues are resolved efficiently to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

* Strong interpersonal skills with clear, confident, and professional communication
* Knowledge of optometry and optical products, including lens index, coatings, and frame suitability
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Skilled in multitasking and prioritising workload in fast-paced customer service environments
* Proficient in computer systems and online retail platforms
* Previous experience in a similar role or within the optical industry is advantageous
