Sales Support & Operations Coordinator (Part Time)
Flexible location, with The Witney Cake Shop acting as the ideal base for the role.
Up to £15.00 per hour depending on experience.
Some flexibility required to support business needs and events.
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive, organized, and hands‑on Sales Support & Operations Coordinator to support the continued growth of our wholesale bakery, cake, and events business.
This is a varied role supporting inside sales activity, customer service, CRM management, lead generation, and operational coordination. The role will also provide occasional backup support within the retail shop when needed.
The successful candidate will play an important role in helping build and manage our sales pipeline while supporting customer relationships across wholesale, corporate, hospitality, and events sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* Research and identify key contacts within schools, hospitality groups, corporate catering, cafés and coffee groups, event venues, institutions, and workplace catering.
* Maintain prospect databases and lead lists.
* Manage and update CRM systems.
* Support outbound sales activity and appointment setting.
* Coordinate wholesale presentations and sample drop-offs.
* Assist in building strategic partnership opportunities.
Customer Service & Enquiries
* Support management of customer inboxes and enquiries.
* Respond to customer requests professionally.
* Coordinate customer follow‑ups and quotations.
* Assist with order communication and general account support.
Operations & Administrative Support
* Provide general business and operational support where needed.
* Support events, pop‑ups, and promotional activity.
* Occasionally support retail shop operations during busy periods, staff absence, or events.

* Good computer and email skills.
* Experience with CRM systems or sales administration is beneficial.
* Retail, hospitality, bakery, or events experience is helpful but not essential.
