Accountable for the end to end delivery of 15m of reactive and cyclical related operations, ensuring that the service is resourced appropriately to meet the contractual requirements and Inspections.
Responsible for all aspects of planning and delivery of circa 40,000 reactive related task orders in line with budget expectations, required quality standards and client timescales.
What you'll be doing
As a Principal Operations Manager, you will have the following responsibilities:
1. Embedding a culture of Zero Harm
2. Ensure compliance with all statutory and company procedures across all the functions, H & S specifically
3. Manage the areas financial and operational performance to meet financial targets providing proactive contribution into the month end CVR process
4. Understand, anticipate and deliver client requirements in terms of budget allocation, service spend and providing value for money
5. Maintain a framework for performance management, succession planning and the development of people within the team
6. Manage supply chain to deliver service excellence and profitability.
Who we're looking for
You will have the following:
7. Appropriate Civil and Highways experience and technical qualification degree of similar
8. Highly motivated to deliver customer satisfaction
9. Self-motivated to achieve a high level of performance
10. Demonstrate leadership skills that will inspire the team to succeed
11. Good business acumen
12. Demonstrate an ability to successfully lead an operational team
13. Experience in the efficient and effective management of resources
14. Commercial Awareness understand cost of doing business, SLAs and KPI
15. Understanding of basic works programming.
