About you
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
* Essential criteria:
o PhD awarded or near completion in biomedical engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related field.
o First or second class honors degree in biomedical engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related subject.
o Advanced programming skills in Python, Matlab, and C++.
o Good writing and presentation skills.
o A solid research background supported by peer-reviewed publications.
o Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
o Effective communication skills across disciplines.
o Enthusiastic attitude and scientific problem-solving approach.
* Desirable criteria:
o Knowledge of cardiovascular physiology.
o Experience with signal and image processing techniques.
o Experience with student supervision.
o Experience in multidisciplinary research.
o Evidence of leading initiatives or projects.
