We are looking for an Operational Manager to join our Occupational Therapy Team. Could this be you? As Occupational Therapy Operational Manager for the Moors, you will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping and delivering a modern, strengths based OT service that makes a real difference to people, communities and the wider system. You’ll lead practice that is firmly aligned to the Care Act and national social care priorities, supporting early intervention, prevention and reablement, reducing avoidable hospital admissions and delayed discharges, and making the most of assistive technology, innovative approaches and community assets. At its heart, this role is about enabling people to remain safe, connected and independent in their own homes. Working with people who draw on care and support, you’ll collaborate closely with health partners, providers, communities and internal services to deliver integrated, person‑centred care and support across a diverse and dynamic locality. As an Operational Manager you will · Provide visible and effective operational leadership to a skilled and committed team of Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants and Advanced Practitioners. · Contribute to the delivery of strategic priorities and the ongoing development of the Occupational Therapy service. · Champion high‑quality, outcome‑focused practice across the team. · Foster a positive culture grounded in curiosity, learning and continuous improvement. · Lead in a way that is approachable and values‑led, motivating, supporting and empowering staff to perform at their best. · Ensure effective performance management, quality assurance and service development. Crucially, you’ll champion the core values and professional identity of Occupational Therapy. Through creativity, problem‑solving and strong professional judgement, you’ll help unlock potential — for individuals, for communities and for your team.
