A Mechanical Sub Assembler is needed to join an international, market-leading engineering business that is at the forefront of its industry. With significant recent investment in the site and a strong order book, this is a secure and stable opportunity within a well-managed and supportive team environment.
The Mechanical Sub Assembler role is varied and hands-on, offering full product training and long-term development.
As a Mechanical Sub Assembler, you will:
Assemble shafts and driveline sub-assemblies
Read and interpret basic engineering drawings
Use hand tools and assembly equipment
Work both independently and as part of a production team
Follow quality and safety standards at all timesThis position would suit someone currently working as a Mechanical Fitter, Bench Fitter, Vehicle Fitter, Hydraulics Engineer etc.
We Would Welcome People to Apply Who Have:
Previous experience in mechanical assembly
The ability to read basic engineering drawings
Good attention to detail
A strong work ethic and willingness to learnIf you have worked in any mechanical assembly environment, your skills are highly transferable to this Mechanical Sub Assembler opportunity.
