Graduate Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our team at a client secondary school based in Old Trafford, starting in September 2025. The successful candidate will be working closely with teachers to support students with their learning and development.
This is an ideal role for someone looking to gain experience in a school setting, particularly if you're interested in progressing into teaching, SEND support, pastoral care, or educational psychology.
Responsibilities:
Some of the key responsibilities of the Graduate Teaching Assistant will include:
* Support teachers in delivering high-quality lessons across a range of subjects.
* Work with individual pupils or small groups, particularly those who need additional support.
* Assist in the preparation of classroom resources and displays.
* Help monitor student progress and behaviour, maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment.
* Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
* Receive ongoing training, mentoring and professional development opportunities throughout the year.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
