Operating within a number of industries, they are now looking to bring on trainee battery engineers to work in their Aberdeen depot, within their Motive Power division. With a competitive base salary and plenty of career progression opportunities available, this would be a great opportunity for someone who is looking for an opportunity to move into the Forklift Batteries industry.
Responsibilities
Servicing, repairing and maintaining the company’s broad range of batteries used within the Material Handling industry
Carrying out regular battery watering within the company depot
Developing an understanding of the company’s products over time with the potential of progression to a fully-fledged engineer
Reporting to the Service Manager with regular updates
Conducting regular warehouse maintenance; ensuring health and safety standards are upkept at all times
Requirements
The company are ideally looking for a candidate with a basic mechanical/electrical understanding who is looking to get into a career with potential long-term career prospects. They would potentially be interested in candidates without any formal qualifications, provided they can show a good attitude and are ready to learn a new skill. It is vital for the requirements of this position that you are based within a commutable distance of Aberdeen.
