Albert Bartlett, a proud family-owned business and a leader in UK food production, is looking for a Chilled Engineer to join our team at our Airdrie Head Office.
Working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, you’ll be based in our chilled production facility, where we create a variety of added-value products including mash, chips, hash browns, and more. In this hands-on role, you’ll help keep our chilled systems running smoothly—playing a vital part in ensuring our products meet the high standards our customers expect.

About The Role
What You’ll Do
• Carry out proactive and reactive maintenance on equipment and machinery to minimise downtime
• Optimise maintenance schedules and undertake preventative maintenance on equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical faults across a range of machinery, including but not limited to production and packaging lines
• Perform minor repairs to buildings and equipment as required
• Take a methodical and proactive approach to daily tasks to help eliminate potential downtime
• Ensure due diligence records are accurate, legible, and well maintained
What We’re Looking For
You will have experience in both mechanical and electrical engineering, with a bias towards either discipline
