We are seeking a Tax Manager to join a marketing leading employer in Cardiff. This role requires a candidate who is brings a plethora of Corporate Tax experience to be able to work with our client and support them with the UK and International Tax obligations. Client Details Our client are a leading employer in Cardiff and across the UK. They provide excellent products and services to their customers globally. Description · Help manage the Group's entire tax function globally. · This involves providing commercial tax support and advice to various business units. · You'll also offer insights into the overall tax position, applying an in-depth knowledge of international tax issues and risks. · Part of your job is to manage tax risks sensibly across all jurisdictions and transactions, including those related to WHT, VAT, corporate tax and employee mobility. · Ensuring compliance with all types of taxes. · You'll be essential in supporting the implementation of effective policies that help mitigate tax risk and exposure. · Your role will include assisting in the oversight of the group's transfer pricing policy, making sure it's applied consistently throughout. · We'll rely on you to maintain strong tax governance across the group, ensuring local finance teams follow the group tax policy and meet deadlines. · You will support every aspect of tax delivery, especially for group and UK subsidiary audits. · It's important to build and manage positive relationships with tax authorities and external tax advisors. Profile A successful Tax Assistant Manager should have: A professional qualification in tax or accounting (e.g. CTA, ACA, ACCA). Proven expertise in handling Corporate tax compliance and advisory work. Strong knowledge of UK tax regulations and legislation. Multinational experience would be very advantageous Excellent organisational and time management skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
