Join to apply for the Clinical HR Assistant role at Cambridge Service Alliance.
Come and join the Clinical School HR Team and be part of a world leading medical school at the University of Cambridge. Reporting to the Clinical HR Team Leader, this permanent role will deliver a professional and seamless HR service to clinical staff as well as other internal and external stakeholders.
In this fast-paced role, you will work closely with the HR Staff hub recruitment team, department contacts and hiring managers to provide a first-class administrative service to ensure the smooth onboarding of new clinical staff — from drafting contracts and ensuring relevant compliance checks and paperwork are in place to handling clinical contract and pay queries, advising on medical staffing matters, and setting up new starters on the HR system.
You will be used to juggling a busy inbox and providing advice in a professional and timely manner. You will enjoy working toward deadlines, using your initiative to resolve queries, and building strong relationships.
You will have experience in a busy administrative role in either a recruitment or HR team, or a role where you provided a strong level of customer support.
There are regular opportunities to get involved in key clinical projects and wider HR projects and initiatives. We value individuals who can bring fresh ideas and improve ways of working.
The hours are full time, 36.5 hours per week. Hybrid working is in place with 2 office days per week.
You will join a supportive team within a wider HR team of 26 HR colleagues. We encourage wellbeing and offer regular wellbeing events and activities as part of the Clinical School Wellbeing Programme.
The team is based in the Clinical School Office on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. Key projects include new facilities and global health initiatives.
The University of Cambridge offers generous benefits including a pension scheme, shopping discounts, extensive learning opportunities and a stimulating environment.
Once an offer of employment is accepted, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a security check.
