Job Title: Tax Manager

Job Summary:
* Develop and communicate a tax strategy for online education, ensuring VAT/GST compliance
* Prepare tax analyses for new projects and legislative changes, advising senior management
* Advise on tax implications of capital projects
* Update partial exemption methodology to maximise VAT recovery
* Maximise tax reliefs, exemptions, and incentives
* Ensure VAT and corporate tax compliance, proposing changes for future legislation
* Prepare and submit VAT and Corporation Tax returns
* Liaise with advisors and tax authorities
* Register with overseas tax authorities for online education sales tax
* Advise on VAT and Customs Duty for imports and exports
* Raise tax awareness among senior management and colleagues
Person Specification:
* Professional qualification (Desirable - CTA) or relevant tax experience
* Substantial experience providing tax advice in a large and complex organisation (preferably with partial exemption arrangement) or in practice
* Extensive knowledge of UK VAT and Corporation Tax legislation
* Knowledge of international VAT/GST legislation
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical matters to non-technical experts
