The Project Controls Lead will work within the Programme Management Office (PMO) on behalf of the Programme Partner (PrP), liaising with various stakeholders across the programme and reporting to the Head of PMO. This role requires SC clearance and is based two days per week in Newbury, Berkshire.
Responsibilities include:
* Supporting the prioritisation and delivery of strategic initiatives
* Providing oversight of key PMO tasks and exercises
* Coordinating cross-discipline integration for baseline management and reporting
* Ensuring consistency of approach across partnerships
* Deputising for the PMO lead as needed
* Providing line management and guidance to the PMO baseline manager and other disciplines
* Supporting resourcing activities
* Managing operational aspects of the PRP PMO
Requirements:
* Strong communication skills for engaging at all levels of the organization
* Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple activities and deadlines
* Knowledge of project controls methods, techniques, and tools supporting baseline management and earned value
* Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and create project plans
* Attention to detail in project controls inputs, recordings, and reports
* Experience in fast-paced project environments
* Qualifications such as MSP or APMG practitioner, or related experience in project controls
* Experience with large infrastructure projects or programmes
* Experience in nuclear or high-security sectors is desirable
