MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT, PERM, INDUSTRY, OPEN TO QBE AND NEWLY QUALS Your new company Hays Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be partnering with a valued client to recruit a commercially focused Management Accountant. This is a key role within the business, taking ownership of the main Irish entity and offering strong visibility to senior leadership within a growing, dynamic group. Your new role As Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving continuous improvement across the finance function.Key responsibilities will include: Preparation of monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis Ownership of month-end processes, including balance sheet reconciliations Lead budgeting and forecasting for the Irish entity Provide insightful financial analysis to support commercial decisions Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to enhance reporting and visibility Ensure strong financial controls and compliance with group standards Support year-end audit and statutory reporting requirements Partner with operational teams to drive cost control and profitability What you'll need to succeed Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or Qualified by Experience Proven experience in a management accounting role Strong systems knowledge, ideally including Sage and/or Navision (Business Central) Experience using Power BI for reporting and data analysis Excellent Excel and analytical skills Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail What you'll get in return Opportunity to take ownership of a key entity within a growing group High level of exposure to senior leadership and strategic decision-making Involvement in systems and reporting transformation projects Supportive and collaborative working environment Competitive salary and benefits package What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
