About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join our IT Operations team and help maintain, secure, and optimize our hybrid network infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
In this role, you’ll ensure the reliability and performance of our LAN, WAN, and cloud networks, working closely with managed service providers and internal stakeholders. You’ll play a key part in maintaining business-critical systems and contributing to strategic improvements in our network architecture.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and maintain secure and efficient LAN and WAN infrastructure across multiple sites.
* Manage internet connectivity and work with service providers to ensure high availability and performance.
* Configure, monitor, and maintain enterprise-grade firewalls to protect internal assets and enforce security policies.
* Design and manage Azure networking, including virtual networks, subnets, and routing.
* Deploy and maintain Azure Firewall and Web Application Firewall (WAF) to secure cloud workloads.
* Implement and support VPN solutions for both site-to-site and remote access.
* Use monitoring tools to proactively identify and troubleshoot network issues.
* Maintain clear network documentation and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory standards.
About You
You’ll bring a strong technical foundation and proven experience in hybrid network environments, along with a proactive, analytical approach to solving complex infrastructure challenges.
Essential skills and qualifications:
* Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent experience.
* Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700) or equivalent experience in Azure networking and security.
* Proven experience managing enterprise network infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, and cloud networking.
* Strong understanding of security principles and risk management in hybrid environments.
* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Desirable:
* ITIL Foundation certification or experience in ITIL-aligned environments.
* Cisco Certified CyberOps Associate or other security-focused certifications.
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
* Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture principles.
* Experience in financial services or government environments.
