Operations Manager – Mobility Services (Field & Depot)
Location: Bristol (5 days onsite) | Local travel involved
Salary: £30,000–£40,000 Basic Salary + Monthly Bonus

We’re supporting one of the UK’s most innovative mobility providers as they continue to scale operations in Bristol. This is a fast-paced, hands-on leadership role, perfect for someone with a passion for operational delivery, workforce planning, and improving customer outcomes, all while helping to reshape how cities move.
With a growing field-based team of technicians and drivers, and a centrally located operations site, you’ll be accountable for the day-to-day performance, planning, and service quality in a role that blends logistics, leadership, and hands-on problem solving.

The Opportunity:
As Operations Manager, you’ll oversee a local team of field technicians and logistics operatives responsible for servicing and maintaining a large fleet of mobility assets across the city.
You’ll forecast and manage resource planning, ensure safety and compliance on-site, and lead the daily push to hit service KPIs. Your role will be pivotal in keeping the operation moving smoothly, efficiently, and safely, every single day.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the day-to-day running of all on-site and mobile workforce operations.
* Plan, forecast, and deploy labour resources in line with operational demand.
* Deliver against service KPIs with a focus on reliability and safety.
* Manage team capability, performance, and development through coaching and reviews.
* Maintain accurate stock, equipment, and asset records including vehicles.
* Ensure the site adheres to Health & Safety and all Standard Operating Procedures.
* Support continuous improvement, working cross-functionally with central teams.
* Uphold a professional, client-ready environment that reflects high operational standards.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in operations, logistics, or fleet-based environments.
* Background in supervisory or junior management roles with performance responsibility.
* Excellent resource planning, rota scheduling, and time management skills.
* Experience working to and delivering against service metrics/KPIs.
* Comfortable managing field-based teams and depot operations.
* Basic mechanical knowledge (e.g., bikes or scooters) beneficial.
* Safety-first mindset with working knowledge of H&S compliance.
* Clear communicator with strong organisation and hands-on leadership style.
