Thrive Trowbridge are delighted to be working with our client in Bath who are actively seeking to engage a Caretaker to join their team on a permanent basis. What you will be doing: As Caretaker, in this vital role you will be responsible for the upkeep of school premises. Assist in the locking up of premises, setting security alarm systems and assisting in responding to alarm call outs Undertake site cleaning (interior and exterior) including restocking consumables Complete all records and documentation as required including testing and managing fire alarms / safety systems Report building, fixtures and fittings and maintenance issues accordingly Escort contractors and service engineers on site ad report on the quality of work performed Ensure compliance with H&S and security regulations What you will need to succeed: Proven track record in a similar role, ideally from an educational setting Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure Excellent communication skills at all levels Due to the nature of the role you will be required to have a reasonable level of fitness (lifting, climbing ladders etc) A good level of IT knowledge What you will receive in return : Competitive salary Full-time Monday to Friday, 37 hour week (early and late shifts) Generous holiday entitlement Free parking The chance to join a progressive organisation What you need to do next: If this position sounds of interest and you would like to be considered, please email sarah.collins@thrivegroup. co.uk Thrive Group are acting as an employment agency in relationship to this vacancy.
