Resident Liaison Officer (Construction Projects)Location: SurreyHours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pmContract: Permanent (full-time, site-based)We are working with a reputable construction company delivering large-scale building projects who are looking to appoint a Resident Liaison Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.This is a fully site-based role due to the nature of the work, so applicants must be able to commute to site daily (car driver preferred).Salary is paying up to £35,000 + package (depending on experience) The RoleYou will play a key role in supporting on-site project teams while acting as a central point of contact for residents and stakeholders. The position requires strong organisation, communication, and coordination skills to ensure projects run smoothly and residents are kept informed throughout.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate project records, communication logs, and documentation systemsDraft clear and professional correspondence to residents and stakeholdersPrepare and distribute bulk communications regarding surveys, appointments, and scheduled worksManage incoming calls and arrange appointments efficientlyEngage directly with residents to understand and manage individual needs and expectationsOrganise and schedule property surveys and access appointmentsTrack and manage appointments, ensuring compliance with site access and security proceduresRecord, monitor, and report on issues raised by residents, ensuring timely resolutionWork collaboratively with site teams to resolve issues and suggest improvementsEnsure all processes are carried out in line with health and safety regulationsEscalate complex or unresolved matters to senior team members where appropriateAccurately update internal systems with deliveries and ensure supporting documentation is shared with relevant teamsRecord weekly stock data following site audits and submit to head officeMonitor internal task alerts and follow up to ensure actions are completed on timeCarry out right-to-work checks for subcontractors in line with compliance requirementsMaintain and update site identification records for operativesCollect and track resident satisfaction feedbackWork with the project team to review feedback and improve overall service deliverySkills & ExperienceStrong written and verbal communication skillsPrevious experience in a customer-facing or liaison role, ideally within construction, housing, or property environmentsAbility to manage expectations and handle queries in a professional and calm mannerHighly organised with strong attention to detailAble to prioritise workload effectively in a fast-paced environmentConfident working on-site alongside operational teamsFull UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferredProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Experience using document management or project systems (e.g. SharePoint or similar platforms)
