What we are looking for We are seeking a CAD and Event Build Coordinator, based at Ascot Racecourse, reporting to the Build Manager. This role will co-ordinate the design of the temporary infrastructure across the racecourse. Paying special attention to Royal Ascot. Working closely with the necessary internal stakeholders and contractors to ensure internal and external elements of the temporary build are planned, whilst ensuring each structure design delivers the brand values; Original, Elegant and Uplifting as well as remaining functional, integrated and fit for purpose. This is a full time, permanent role. What you’ll be doing Design projects using AutoCAD. Working with the external suppliers to produce fully co-ordinated drawings for all events using temporary structures. Produce an overall site plan for each of the Ascot Racecourse meetings, by working with all stakeholder groups. Coordinate the dissemination of plans and information to the relevant parties, ensuring the most up to date information is available. Working with the Joint Venture partners to plan the kitchen and bar layouts for the build ensuring they are compliant for fire safety and hygiene as well as the best use of space. Update drawings of the permanent facilities on site. Produce plans for Events at Ascot events. Actively involved with contractors on-site to verify structures, document as-built changes, and capture reference photos for future use Assist the Logistics Coordinator with race day preparation, planning and set up. Collaborate with the Facilities department to update site plans, ensuring accurate representation of services and pit locations. Work with the ICT department to update site plans to reflect data services and correct pit locations. Develop master blocks for commonly used items in site layouts, floor plans, and kitchen plans. Provide support during race days as required. Perform other duties as reasonably requested by the Company. Skills and experience you can bring Proficient in creating accurate 2D plans using AutoCAD. The ability to create 3D designs as an advantage. Skilled in Microsoft office applications, including Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint. Good communication and presentation skills. Highly proactive, collaborative, and able to work effectively within a team to meet tight deadlines. Possess basic CAD experience.
