📢 HR Advisor (2-Month Contract)
Salary: £35,096–£38,342 (pro-rated)
Location: Bristol
We’re seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our People Services team on an initial 2-month contract.
You’ll play a key role in delivering our people-first culture by providing high-quality, compliant HR advice to leaders, managers and colleagues across the College.
In this role, you will support a broad range of employee relations matters—including disciplinary, grievance, sickness management and recruitment—ensuring decisions reflect legislation, best practice and our commitment to inclusivity. You’ll coach managers, contribute to policy development, and work collaboratively with colleagues across Health & Safety, Finance, Trade Unions and our wider People team.
We’re looking for someone with:
• Strong generalist HR experience and excellent knowledge of employment law
• Confident advisory skills with the ability to build trusted relationships
• Experience using HR systems and managing casework
• A commitment to diversity, wellbeing and a supportive, high-performance culture
Level 5 CIPD (or equivalent experience) is essential; coaching experience or policy development skills are desirable.
