Role:
1. Lead on strategic procurement projects
2. Prepare tender documentation and manage full processes above threshold
3. Lead/support procurement strategy delivery within assigned category areas
4. Deliver service improvement
5. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
6. Carry out bench marking activities and market analysis
7. Achieve cashable savings and added value opportunities
8. Negotiate with suppliers
9. Advise on procurement process and look to improve procedures where possible
The Person:
10. Previous experience within the Public Sector
11. PCR2015 / PA2023 knowledge
12. Category knowledge in Construction or Estates and Facilities
13. MCIPS or working towards desirable
