Head of Financial Lines is a senior leadership position within Victor UK responsible for shaping, governing and driving the strategy for the UK Financial Lines Underwriting Practice. Victor is Marsh’s MGA and we are on a journey to become the best Digitally Enabled, Full Stack, Specialist MGA in the UK. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.
Responsibilities
* Lead the financial lines underwriting team to achieve business objectives.
* Develop and implement underwriting strategies and product offerings tailored to market needs.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and carriers.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform business decisions.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
* Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the financial lines portfolio.
Qualifications
* Extensive experience in financial lines underwriting.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Established broker relationships and presence in the UK market.
* Deep knowledge of UK insurance market regulations and practices.
* Proven track record of developing and growing financial lines products.

* Professional qualifications such as ACII or equivalent.
* Experience with digital underwriting platforms and data analytics.
