Robert Half is partnering with an ambitious, high-growth organisation in the East Midlands to appoint an FP&A Consultant on an initial six-month contract.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can quickly get under the skin of a business, improve the quality of financial insight, and support senior leaders with better planning, forecasting and decision-making.
About the Role
As FP&A Consultant, you will lead budgeting and forecasting activity across the group, build and improve financial models, and provide clear commercial analysis to support the leadership team.
The business is moving at pace, so this role needs someone who is comfortable working with imperfect data, challenging assumptions, and turning numbers into practical actions.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead budget and forecast processes across the group
* Build and improve financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making
* Analyse performance against budget, forecast and key KPIs
* Partner with senior stakeholders to challenge assumptions and improve commercial understanding
* Create dashboards, reporting packs and insight for the executive team
* Identify opportunities to improve planning, reporting and analysis processes
* Support ad hoc commercial projects during a period of growth and change
We’re Looking For
* A proven FP&A professional with a commercial mindset and a hands-on approach
* CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified
* Strong background in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting and business partnering
* Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
* Confident presenting financial insight to senior stakeholders
* Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growing business
* Able to quickly add value in a contract environment
