Registrar | 8072 | Secondment opportunity or temporary contract to cover maternity leave | 22.2 hours per week | £27,711 to £30,060 per annum pro rata | Grade F | Norwich
We are seeking a Registrar on a temporary basis to join the Registrar Service and Norfolk County Council, delivering vital services across Norfolk.
Registrars record significant life events, including births, deaths, marriages, and civil partnerships. They conduct and register marriages and civil partnerships and provide related services.
Join our Norwich team to ensure effective and efficient delivery of frontline registration services. Comprehensive training will be provided as the role involves learning and retaining various duties.
The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, perform well under pressure, work independently, adapt to change, and be flexible as duties may vary weekly.
The role may require travel around the county at short notice; thus, a current driving license and personal transport are necessary.
The position includes a regular Saturday shift with enhanced pay.
Applicants should possess excellent IT skills, spelling, grammar, and interpersonal skills. Experience in a public-facing role within a regulatory framework is essential.
Demonstrating a commitment to excellent customer service and teamwork is required.
