About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join a busy and forward-thinking engineering operation in Horsham.
This role plays a key part in maximising plant availability by ensuring planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs, and continuous improvement activities are carried out efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high plant availability and efficient breakdown repair service
* Diagnose faults and implement effective repairs within minimal downtime
* Develop and carry out planned preventative maintenance programmes
* Identify recurring faults and implement long-term engineering solutions
* Perform minor maintenance operations on plant and equipment
* Liaise with external contractors for specialist repairs and servicing
* Ensure compliance with current Health & Safety and environmental legislation
* Maintain accurate maintenance records xsngvjr and documentation
About YouEssential:
* Previous experience in a maintenance engineering role within an industrial or production environment
* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
* Commitment to high engineering and safety standards
Desirable:
* Engineering qualification (advantageous)
* Additional relevant technical certifications
