Funeral Arranger/ Funeral Service Operative AH Rogers & Sons Funeral Directors – Eastleigh SO50 5RD £27,687 per annum Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm Out of Hours Rota/ On Call The Opportunity: Based at AH Rogers & Sons Funeral Directors – Eastleigh, our Funeral Arrangers are a very special part of our team; caring and organised, they offer a warm welcome and guide our families through the whole funeral process. They couple their incredible interpersonal and listening skills, with an eye for detail and accurate administrative skills. As well as supporting families in making funeral arrangements, Funeral Arrangers are responsible for ensuring all the relevant paperwork and documentation is completed accurately, and on time. They are also responsible for providing a detailed handover to the Funeral Director, in order that every little detail goes to plan on the day. Our Funeral Arrangers have an important role within the community, building strong working relationships as well as organising fundraising activities to support organisations in the local community. In addition to arranging funerals, you will also support the business by taking on Funeral Service Operative duties as needed—including out-of-hours, and on call responsibilities, helping ensure we deliver exceptional service around the clock. Out of Hours and On call will provide an opportunity to earn additional payments. Please note, the salary includes a fringe weighting allowance of £1,250 Working Hours: Your normal working hours will be: Monday to Friday: 9am – 5pm But on occasions, could be between the hours of 7am – 6pm depending on funeral service needs.
