Role Summary:
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality agricultural and estate-related legal work. You’ll be involved in transactional matters, tenancy advice, succession planning, and pioneering Natural Capital projects such as Biodiversity Net Gain. This is an opportunity to develop your expertise within a respected team, with scope for progression and business development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Transactional work: Handle sales, purchases, mortgages, and estate management — building technical expertise.
• Tenancy & succession advice: Support clients on agricultural tenancies, tax, and estate planning.
• Conservation projects: Contribute to innovative Natural Capital initiatives, including Biodiversity Net Gain.
• Client engagement: Develop and maintain strong client relationships while enhancing your professional network.
• Business development: Play an active role in growing the team’s profile and service offering.
Requirements:
• Solid experience in agricultural or rural property law.
• Excellent technical drafting skills.
• Commercial awareness and client-focused approach.
• Organised, ambitious, and detail-oriented.
• Strong team player with the ability to build relationships and contribute to practice growth.
