Y Sort It’s Care Connections programme aims to support care-experienced young people aged 10-16 years within West Dunbartonshire.
The role of the Care Connections Support Worker is to provide support tailored to care-experienced young people's learning needs, raising attainment by offering a supportive pathway throughout their school life and beyond.
You will actively support and encourage young people, helping them overcome challenges and barriers, working towards goals to improve their learning, skills, and personal development.
Care Connection Support Workers will be the #KeepingThePromise leads, working with young people accessing YSort It services who are care experienced. They will offer guidance, rights-based information, create learning opportunities, develop support plans, and provide advice, information, training, and peer support. The role involves working closely with schools, partner agencies, and family members.
The post requires flexibility, as work hours will include evenings, school holidays, weekends, and possibly overnight stays to meet the programme's demands.

The Young Leader Development Worker should have experience engaging with young people facing difficulties transitioning into adulthood, mentoring, and guiding them to build confidence and resilience, exploring future options. Experience in outdoor activities is preferred.

Due to internal promotion, we are recruiting for a Risk and Quality Assurance Manager to join our Strategic Initiatives and Governance team (SIG). The role reports to the Head of SIG and involves risk management, internal audits, and ensuring compliance with standards including Care Inspectorate. The role is primarily office-based, three days a week.
Right There is a charity celebrating 200 years, providing tailored support to those experiencing homelessness, poverty, substance use, or family breakdowns. Last year, we supported nearly 4,000 individuals, helping prevent homelessness and separation from loved ones.
Main duties include:
* Developing and implementing quality assurance strategies aligned with our values and strategic aims.
* Formulating and managing quality standards and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
* Collaborating across teams to integrate quality assurance into processes.
* Developing risk management frameworks, identifying and assessing risks, and creating mitigation plans.
* Performing assurance reviews and supporting risk owners.
* Working with managers and stakeholders to embed risk and quality considerations into plans and processes.
* Maintaining documentation, leading policies, protocols, and accreditation cycles.
* Developing and delivering training to foster understanding of risk and quality principles.
We expect the candidate to have relevant experience in risk management and quality assurance, familiarity with sector regulations including Care Inspectorate, and strong organizational and leadership skills. The role involves a proactive, solution-focused approach.
Working hours are 35 per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours between 8 am and 6 pm. Main location: 15 Dava Street, Glasgow. Benefits include 6 weeks of annual leave (pro-rata), pension, cycle to work scheme, life insurance, and flexible leave options.
