William Booth College is a Christian learning community that exists to equip and resource people for the mission of God. We are The Salvation Army’s centre for learning and development in the UK, providing training for over 5, staff and officers, as well as external students. We provide short online learning through to 2-year residential training for cadets (Salvation Army Officers (ministers) in training).
Located in an iconic building designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott, but with up to the minute equipment and buildings, William Booth College has about full and part time staff, some based at WBC, others in the various regions of the UK.
Key responsibilities:
The Assistant Principal helps lead the vision for the various teams that provide learning and development opportunities for our cadets, officers, and employees.
The successful candidate:
You will provide an excellent service to enable them to perform these various tasks, dealing with both college staff, Territorial leadership, and a range of internal and external contacts. This is a varied role providing administrative support and requiring excellent administrative, communication and interpersonal skills. Applicants to this role are required to have an active Christian faith and a willingness to work according to the values of William Booth College.
