About the role

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants, support staff, graduates, or individuals looking to develop their career within education.

As a Qualified Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons across a range of subjects and year groups
  • Provide classroom and learning support to students, helping them achieve their full potential
  • Work with individuals and small groups of pupils to support their learning and development
  • Assist with behaviour management and promote positive relationships with students
  • Support pupils with additional learning needs where required
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
  • Encourage student engagement, confidence, and independence
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, teachers, and wider school staff
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism and safeguarding at all times

  • Requirements

    To be considered for this role, you will:

  • Hold a recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Have experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have a positive, patient, and supportive approach
  • Be confident supporting pupils across different year groups and abilities
  • Be adaptable, reliable, and able to work as part of a team
  • Have, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS Check registered on the Update Service
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Salary is dependent on experience, training, and qualifications.
