Job Title: Workforce Planning Analyst
Location: Hybrid – working from our Solihull office 2 days per week
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 12-month Fixed Term Contract
About the Role
Our UK&E Growth Team plays a key role in developing new business opportunities and compelling propositions that translate into high impact public services. We are seeking a natural problem solver to join as a Workforce Planning Analyst, supporting the Head of Resourcing and Growth Support with resource demand planning, allocation, and reporting for our UK&E bids. You will ensure we have the right people, in the right roles, at the right time to deliver successful bid outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Own & maintain our service now resource planning tool, providing accurate data and insights for demand and capacity planning.
2. Collaborate with senior leaders to understand bid processes and develop high-level resource solutions.
3. Manage and develop the contingent workforce supply & third-party partners, monitoring performance and external spend.
4. Lead and chair regular resource planning meetings with Heads of various functions across Serco.
5. Make resource allocation decisions responsibly.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience in talent acquisition, capacity planning, workforce planning, analyst, or project-based roles.
* Advanced skills in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and service now resource planning (advantageous).
* Ability to convert data sets into meaningful reports.
* Clarity in communicating from ambiguous situations.
* Exceptional collaboration, influencing, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
