The Role
As a Compressor Service Engineer, you will be responsible for:
* Servicing, maintaining and repairingrotary screw, piston and oil-free compressors
* Fault finding onelectrical, mechanical and control systems
* Installing new compressed air equipment and pipework systems
* Carrying out routine maintenance, breakdown response and emergency call-outs
* Providing excellent customer support and technical advice on site
* Completing service reports and maintaining accurate documentation
The role isfield-based in the regionwith occasional travel further afield.
Requirements
To be successful, you should have:
* Proven experience as aCompressor Engineer, Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer
* Strongmechanical and basic electrical fault-finding skills
* Experience working oncompressed air systems or similar industrial equipment(pumps, blowers, vacuum, hydraulics, pneumatics or HVAC also considered)
* Full UK driving licence
* Good customer-facing and communication skills
* Relevant engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND or xsngvjr equivalent) desirable but not essential
