Oracle DBA – 6 Months Contract – Edinburgh - £500 per day
Change Digital are looking for an experienced Oracle DBA to join our Edinburgh based client’s technology team, supporting mission critical systems within a regulated financial services environment. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the performance, resilience, and security of enterprise Oracle platforms across on-prem and cloud (OCI & Azure).
Key Responsibilities
* Administer and optimise Oracle database environments
* Ensure high availability, performance, and security
* Manage backup, recovery, patching, and upgrades
* Support technologies including Data Guard, RMAN, OEM, RAC, Exadata
* Contribute to cloud transformation initiatives (OCI & Azure)
* Support automation, DevOps, CI/CD, and Azure DevOps pipelines
* Participate in incident, change, and on-call support
* Provide secondary support for SQL Server where needed
What You’ll Bring
* 5+ years’ Oracle DBA experience in enterprise environments
* Strong expertise in Oracle 19c / 23ai, SQL, PL/SQL
* Experience with OCI and cloud database services
* Solid Linux and scripting skills
* Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
