About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Production Controller to join our manufacturing team in Belfast. You will be responsible for translating production plans into schedules, ensuring seamless execution across production and logistics, and driving operational excellence through collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Production Scheduling & Execution
* Translate the Master Production Schedule into detailed schedules for work centers and lines.
* Manage work orders and authorize manufacturing activities.
* Adjust priorities based on material and resource availability.
Monitoring & Performance Control
* Track progress, identify bottlenecks, and ensure schedules are met.
* Analyze KPIs related to production and delivery.
* Monitor resource availability to support production.
Problem Solving & Recovery
* Investigate delays and implement corrective actions.
* Develop recovery plans with relevant departments.
* Manage rework or repair activities as needed.
Cross-Functional Coordination
* Participate in daily production meetings.
* Collaborate with Logistics, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance teams.
* Ensure planning tools reflect real-time status.
Logistics & Material Flow Responsibilities
* Oversee inbound logistics, customs, and goods receipt.
* Manage internal logistics and inventory levels.
* Coordinate outbound logistics and monitor inventory discrepancies.
* Optimize transport routes and ensure compliance.
* Support warehouse and automation initiatives.
Master Data Management (MDM) Support
* Maintain master data records and support data requests.
* Participate in data quality initiatives.
What You’ll Bring

* Familiarity with ERP and MES systems (e.g., SAP).
