An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal or Newly Qualified Solicitor to join a well-established and supportive law firm within their Medical Negligence team.

The Role
You will act as a fee earner, supporting clients through medical negligence claims while delivering a professional and efficient legal service. This is a varied role involving client interaction, case management, legal drafting, and research.
Key Responsibilities
* Taking client instructions via telephone and in person
* Managing new enquiries and preparing initial documentation
* Conducting risk assessments, due diligence, and conflict checks
* Maintaining accurate case files and detailed records
* Investigating claims, including obtaining and reviewing medical records
* Preparing legal documentation including Letters of Claim and Witness Statements
* Liaising with Counsel, experts, and third parties
* Attending conferences and hearings where required
* Carrying out legal research to support case progression
* Keeping clients updated throughout the lifecycle of their claim
About You
* Ideally 3+ years’ experience in medical negligence
* Strong organisational and case management skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
* Confident working independently and as part of a team
* Proactive, resilient, and client-focused approach
* Good understanding of legal terminology and processes
