The Senior Cyber Engineer will support project implementation aligned with company goals, including improving margins, customer satisfaction, schedule, working capital, and safety performance. Responsibilities include providing cybersecurity, networking, secure architectures, vulnerability & risk assessments, and supporting client projects. Experience in discovering vulnerabilities in networks, software systems, and data centers through scans, monitoring, and updates is required.
Our Systems Integration (SI) team works with high-profile clients in the energy sector, delivering automation and control solutions to enhance safety and efficiency. We architect digital ecosystems that are inherently secure, integrating IT and Operational Technology (OT), and designing systems to meet business and operational goals.
Key objectives:
* Assess cybersecurity architecture robustness within client facilities
* Design solutions to meet client needs and mitigate risks
* Conduct vulnerability assessments and audits on client systems and networks
* Provide expertise in network design, implementation, and testing for automation and control systems
* Define network requirements supporting automation solutions
* Develop detailed network architecture and data flow diagrams
* Create network schedules and testing procedures
* Contribute to technical bid evaluations and review vendor drawings
* Perform Cyber Security Risk Assessments and advise on mitigation
* Evaluate client security posture and identify vulnerabilities
* Stay updated on security trends and threats
* Apply integration concepts across various systems and vendors
* Engineer network design and implementation for automation projects
* Prepare engineering studies and design documentation
* Resolve engineering issues following standards and codes
Skills & Qualifications:
* BSc Degree or equivalent experience
* Certifications like CCNA, CCNP, CWNP, ISA/IEC 62443, or GICSP preferred
* Experience in Control System Network Design Engineering
* Understanding of IEC62443 and IEC27001/2 standards
* Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and their security
* Experience with system implementation projects and control platforms
* Experience with upgrades/replacements in automation and control
* Strong knowledge of engineering practices, standards, and regulations
* Familiarity with modern automation tools and trends
* Understanding of physical security and cybersecurity in OT environments
* Attention to detail and organizational skills
Desirable:
* Experience with Rockwell, Honeywell, Schneider PLC/SCADA systems
* Familiarity with telecom protocols, satellite, and radio technologies
* Experience with OT Intrusion Detection Systems
