Rebuilding Lives. we are expanding our team and seeking a passionate Deputy Manager to help lead one of our East London homes.
The Role As Deputy Manager, you will support the Registered Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring that the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance are maintained.
Key Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and supervise a team of Residential Support Workers
Oversee care planning, shift coordination, and rota management
Ensure full compliance with safeguarding and Ofsted requirements
Provide leadership during inspections, audits, and reviews
Deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager
Foster a trauma-informed, child-centred culture of care
What Were Looking For Minimum 2 years experience in a childrens residential setting
1+ year experience in a supervisory or leadership role
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (essential)
Working towards or completed Level 5 in Leadership & Management
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, care regulations, and Ofsted inspections
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service preferred)
