HGV Class 2 Driver - ManchesterPosition: HGV 2 DriverLocation: Trafford Park, Stretford, Manchester M17 1EH, UKSalary: £17.00 per hourJob OverviewWhat will life as a HGV Driver be like for you :£17.00 per hourOvertime @ 1.5 times the hourly rate5 on 3 off patterAs early as 0500am startInhouse training and developmentComplimentary meals & beveragesFree on-site parkingPaid HolidayRegular shift patternsMain Duties and Responsibilities Driving HGV 15 - 18 tonne company liveried vehicles in a secure & controlled environment Carrying out vehicle checks prior to use Loading and unloading catering uplifts to aircraft Liaison with flight crew and working in collaboration with other ground handling suppliers Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the vehicle Adhering to all Road Traffic Acts and additional Airport By- laws Additional duties such as Bar and stores packing or search and sealing will be a daily requirement along with any associated paperwork. Plus any additional warehouse dutiesRequirements of the HGV Driver: Valid clean HGV CAT C Driving Licence (up to 3 points will be considered) Digital Tachograph knowledge and possession of a digital tachograph card Driver CPC qualification essential Previous HGV experience desirable, Airport Airside Driving would be an advantage Knowledge of the Road Traffic Act Previous experience in a catering or hospitality role is desirable but not essential. You must be able to work shifts and be keen to learn. In addition to job - related training, you will develop your skills in team work, time management, multi-tasking, communication and attention to detail.* All applicants must have the right to work in the UK, undertake a CRC (Criminal Record Check) and provide 5 years of checkable referencing history.
