Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the clinical operations of home healthcare services, ensuring high standards of care.
2. Provide clinical leadership and support to healthcare teams, including Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants.
3. Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
4. Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to maintain and improve care standards.
5. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and review individualised care plans for clients.
6. Provide training, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for clinical staff.
7. Act as a point of contact for clinical issues and provide expert advice and support.
8. Ensure effective communication and collaboration with clients, families, and external healthcare providers.
9. Monitor and report on clinical performance metrics and outcomes.
10. Participate in recruitment and selection of clinical staff.
11. Stay updated with the latest clinical practices, guidelines, and regulations.
Skills And Qualifications:
1. Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid NMC PIN.
2. Extensive experience in a clinical leadership role, preferably in home healthcare or a similar setting.
3. Strong knowledge of clinical practices, guidelines, and regulations.
4. Excellent leadership and management skills.
5. Proficiency in using healthcare management software and electronic health records (EHR).
6. Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with clinical advancements.

Candidates must hold a UK Driving Licence, have access to their own vehicle and be within a commutable distance of the office. Please note, this role will support out of hours escalation on a rota basis and will also involve weekly travel across our network of offices.
