The Role
As a Bookings Officer with TLA Sport, you’ll play a key role in delivering unforgettable sports tours while making day-to-day operations smoother for the wider team. You’ll support the full bookings process—from coordinating excursions and developing itineraries to ensuring safety audits and preparing pre-departure documentation—so that every tour runs seamlessly and every team member feels supported.
This role exists to help us keep pace with rapid growth, maintain quality across our tours, and free up capacity for the team to focus on strategic responsibilities. You’ll contribute directly to smooth delivery, strong customer experiences, and a healthy team workload.
Responsibilities:
Travel Booking and Operational Coordination:
* Book tour components in a timely manner for trips across the country including hotels, transportation, suppliers and activities.
* Manage tour bookings end-to-end, including excursions, logistics, and budgets
* Build detailed itineraries and pre-departure documents well ahead of travel.
* Accompany groups when needed to ensure delivery is on track
Quality & Compliance:
* Support the tour with any small incidents or inconveniences which arise as part of a tour.
* Resolve and record minor inquiries or complaints during tour and post-tour,
* Obtain and track safety audits for all assigned tours.
* Ensure documentation is accurate, timely, and meets internal standards
Team & Stakeholder Support:
* Work closely with the Operations Manager to manage workload and priorities.
* Provide hands-on support to colleagues and step in to solve operational needs.
* Strengthen the tour experience through communication and organisation

* A collaborative, can-do mindset with a willingness to go the extra mile
* Strong communication skills both written as well as spoken
* Ability to balance a reactive workload alongside ongoing projects.
* A proactive, organised approach to problem-solving and prioritization
To succeed in this role, you will likely have:
* Experience in tour operations or coordination
* Great to have, but not mandatory: Italian language skills
