Introduction The Role Centacare New England North West is seeking two skilled and committed Men’s Behaviour Change Program Facilitators to join our Families, Wellbeing and Justice team. This role works directly with perpetrators of domestic and family violence to support accountability, behaviour change, and safer outcomes for women, children, and families across the New England North West region. This role involves working with voluntary and court-mandated participants and requires a willingness to travel across the New England North West. Some programs are delivered after hours, including evenings. This role can be Full-time or Part-time, Applications in Moree, Inverell, Armidale and Tamworth are encouraged to apply. Description Key Responsibilities Facilitate Men’s Behaviour Change Program groups in accordance with approved standards and funding requirements Deliver group-based and individual interventions within an integrated, multidisciplinary framework Conduct intake, pre-group, and ongoing risk assessments Challenge abusive attitudes and behaviours while reinforcing accountability Work collaboratively with Family Safety Workers, victim survivor services, and external partners Maintain accurate records, compliance documentation, and participate in supervision and continuous improvement What We Offer Tax-free salary packaging up to $18,500 Purpose-driven work that creates real community impact A supportive, inclusive, values-driven workplace Ongoing learning, reflective practice, and professional development An organisation undergoing positive growth and transformation Skills And Experiences Essential Criteria Relevant qualification in Social Work, Community Services, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience Experience working in the domestic and family violence sector, including an understanding of perpetrator accountability and victim-survivor safety Demonstrated experience facilitating group-based programs, with the ability to manage complex group dynamics Strong communication skills and emotional intelligence, with the capacity to challenge behaviour respectfully and effectively Sound ethical practice, professional judgement, and risk awareness, including documentation and information sharing requirements Willingness and capacity to travel across the New England North West and deliver some programs after hours, including evenings (ECAV Graduate Certificate in Men’s Behaviour Change or willingness to obtain is desirable.)
