Location: Various SEN schools in Bristol and easily accessible from Gloucester Working Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 3:30pm Start Date: ASAP The Role: You’ll work flexibly to support students across a range of needs—autism, communication difficulties, learning delays, and behavioural challenges. Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, families, and external professionals, you’ll help deliver interventions and ensure students feel safe, included, and supported. Duties may include: 1:1 and group support Helping plan and deliver learning activities Monitoring and reporting on pupil progress Using effective behaviour strategies Occasionally managing a whole class under teacher guidance We’re Looking For Someone Who: ✅ Has previous experience as a TA or HLTA ✅ Holds at least Grade C/4 in GCSE English and Maths ✅ Brings energy, patience, and a calm, caring approach ✅ Is proactive, reliable, and a real team player ✅ Can work confidently with pupils of all abilities ✅ Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills ✅ (Bonus) Has experience in a secondary school or specialist provision Whether you’ve worked in schools before, supported children in other settings, or are looking to take your first step into SEN education—we’d love to hear from you.
