Role Overview
We are seeking qualified and experienced Nursery Nurses and Early Years Practitioners to join our team in Winchester and surrounding areas. As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment that fosters learning and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met
Creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment that promotes learning and development
Assisting with daily routines, learning activities, and play, using a variety of techniques to engage children and encourage participation
Building positive relationships with children, staff, and parents, maintaining open communication and providing regular updates on children’s progress
Required Skills & Experience
Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification, such as a diploma or certificate in childcare or early years education
Previous experience working with children, preferably in a nursery or early years setting
Passion for childcare and Early Years education, with a commitment to providing high-quality care and support
Knowledge of the EYFS framework and its application in practice
Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one, as well as a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
