We have an exciting opportunity for a Planned Care Lead to join our Primary Care team at HMP Bullingdon, a category B prison located near Bicester. HMP Bullingdon is a male prison with operational capacity of around 1,100.
Lots of in‑house training opportunities on offer including the Management development programme with PPG, various university courses, development from a planned care perspective relating to long term conditions.
Hours
37.5 hours working Monday to Friday, 7.30am - 5.30pm (if covering a clinical shift) and 8-4pm. Some weekend working, max of one weekend a month.
Salary
This position is full time, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £59,677 per annum FTE – depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As a Planned Care Lead your responsibilities will vary. You will
 * Provide clinical leadership and day to day operational management to the registered nurses and care teams. Deputise on behalf of the Deputy/Head of Healthcare when required. Working closely with partners to maintain a robust, high quality clinical service for patients. Ensure that own clinical practice is consistent with autonomous practice within the role.
 * As the Clinical Lead you will coach, line manage and develop clinician staff; support and contribute in undertaking audits and governance and contribute to developing and reviewing clinical/non clinical Local Operating Protocols for the site. You will also chair and facilitate specific healthcare meetings with the team and different partners.
 * As Clinical lead, you’ll deliver workshops to develop the teams learning in various areas such as clinical processes, documentation, patient care and joint Healthcare & HMPPS processes.

Qualifications
 * Registered Nurse Adult
 * Would consider a Practice Nurse or someone who leads as a Senior Nurse in an outpatient department
 * Long term conditions experience
 * Management experienceCurrent professional qualification (NMC)
 * Prescribing Qualification Desirable
 * Evidence of Continued Professional Development
 * A fastidious approach to Professional Standards
 * Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
