What You’ll Do
As a Support Worker, you’ll help individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs live safe, fulfilled, and independent lives. Your responsibilities will include:
3. Providing person-centred support tailored to individual care plans
4. Administering medication, preparing meals, cleaning, and completing documentation
5. Offering emotional and practical support
6. Encouraging community inclusion by supporting access to local services and activities
7. Building strong, trusting relationships that promote independence and enhance quality of life
8. Supporting individuals to explore hobbies, develop new skills, and reach personal goals

9. Previous experience in the care sector, specifically supporting vulnruble adults with learning disabilities
10. The ability to multi-task, prioritise, and work flexibly
11. Strong communication, time management, and IT skills

13. Resilience and confidence in managing challenging behaviours
14. A team player mindset, with the ability to also work independently
