Guidewire Transformation Director
For one of my leading Insuretech clients we are seeking an experienced Guidewire Transformation Director to lead and deliver large-scale insurance transformation programmes. This role is responsible for defining and executing the end-to-end transformation strategy across Guidewire platforms (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter), ensuring alignment with business objectives, operational efficiency, and long-term digital capability.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the end-to-end transformation strategy and delivery of Guidewire programmes across the organisation
* Own programme governance, ensuring delivery is on time, on budget, and aligned to business outcomes
* Act as the senior interface between C-suite stakeholders, business units, and technology teams
* Drive business transformation, including process redesign, operating model evolution, and change management
* Oversee multiple workstreams (business, technology, data, integration, testing, and deployment)
* Ensure alignment with Guidewire best practices and target architecture
* Manage third-party vendors, system integrators, and delivery partners
* Lead programme teams, including Programme Managers, Business Analysts, Architects, and Delivery Leads
* Drive risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication at executive level
* Ensure successful adoption and business readiness, including training, UAT, and post-implementation support
Required Experience
* Proven experience leading large-scale Guidewire transformation programmes (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter)
* Strong background in insurance / InsurTech environments
* Demonstrated experience at Director / Programme Director level, leading complex, multi-country programmes
* Experience managing budgets, governance, and delivery across global teams
* Strong understanding of digital transformation, cloud, and modern insurance platforms
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, including CIO, CTO, COO, and business leadership engagement
Desirable Skills
* Experience with Guidewire Cloud transformations
* Background in data migration, integration architecture, and API-driven ecosystems
* Experience with Agile at scale (SAFe or similar frameworks)
* Guidewire certifications or relevant transformation credentials
