Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bar staff to join our small team. The ideal candidate will have a knowledge of cellar work and be able to deliver exceptional customer service. This role requires evening and weekend availability. Experience in a hotel/restaurant settings is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
* Engage with customers to provide exceptional service, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
* Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems.
* Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management.
Requirements
* Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
* Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
* Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
* A can do attitude
* Experience in cellar work would be advantageous
* Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by the establishment's schedule.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
