Overview
Junior Project Manager – must have Public Sector experience. Location: Birmingham, United Kingdom. This is a Hybrid role with an office in Birmingham, offering the chance to work on meaningful initiatives that impact public services and communities across the UK. Salary: Up to £37,000 per annum.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the end-to-end delivery of projects, from initiation through to completion.
* Assist with project planning, scheduling, and tracking progress against agreed milestones.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.
* Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and updates for stakeholders.
* Contribute to risk and issue management, escalating where appropriate.
* Help identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
* Participate in meetings with internal teams and external partners.
* Demonstrable experience working as a Project Manager within the public sector.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach to challenges.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Competence with project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Exposure to recognised project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, or similar).
* Experience supporting change management or service delivery improvement projects.
