Clinical Pharmacist (Unique Dual-Role Hybrid Community & Practice-Based Role)

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join our innovative hybrid team. This unique dual-role combines community pharmacy practice at a partner-owned pharmacy with a practice-based clinical pharmacist role in a progressive GP practice.
You will work alongside Accredited Checking Technicians (ACTs) and another pharmacist, supported daily by the Superintendent Pharmacist and Pharmacy Manager, and collaborate closely with GPs and the wider primary care team. This role offers the chance to develop clinical expertise while remaining actively connected to community pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities
Community Pharmacy
Lead day-to-day pharmacy operations and support ACTs
Deliver NHS and private services, including medication reviews, vaccinations, and travel health
Provide clinical advice and support workflow improvements with technologyPractice-Based Clinical
Conduct medication reviews and prescribing optimisation
Participate in audits, quality improvement, and patient care pathways
Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomesProfessional Development
Mentorship from GPs and senior pharmacy leaders
Opportunities to develop independent prescribing skills
Exposure to innovative pharmacy technologies and digital systemsAbout You
Essential
MPharm degree and GPhC registration
Post-qualification experience in hospital, community, or primary care pharmacy
Independent Prescriber (or working towards)
Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS)Desirable
Strong communication and teamwork skills
