Due to continued success and expansion plans, a UK Head Office of a global manufacturing company has an exciting opportunity for a Finance & Customs Administrator to join them. You will provide key support to the Finance and Customer Service Team, and the Logistics Team.
* Processing invoices, maintaining ledgers, reconciling accounts, and supporting month‑end activities; liaising internally with the logistics team by matching invoices with POD, raising and investigating any discrepancies.
* Preparing, reviewing, and submitting import/export documentation in accordance with UK and international regulations; working closely with the customer service team ensuring all customs compliance is met, including advising the company of any future changes.
* Maintaining accurate financial and customs records, ensuring audit readiness.
* Assisting in the creation and improvement of administrative and compliance procedures.
* Liaising with internal teams including production, logistics partners, and external agencies to resolve queries and ensure smooth operational flow.
We would expect the successful Finance & Customs Administrator to have a good working knowledge of customs procedures (Import/Export) and experience in Finance/Accounts administration support. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with a friendly, confident manner. 1:1 support will be provided to become familiar with company processes and procedures. This role is ideal for someone who has worked within Import or Export Administration, Finance Administration, or Accounts Administration in a FMCG manufacturing company.
You will be joining the Corby Head Office of a global manufacturing company that has been established for over 30 years, with a reputation for delivering outstanding quality service. Working directly with the Accounts Assistant, Finance Controller, and Customer Service Manager, this role offers variety on a daily basis.
